Our Restaurant is about sharing the passion, the food and the atmosphere of a high end New Zealand Restaurant.
Our mission is to provide you with the best restaurant we can, with the best staff, service, food, beer and wine. To welcome you into our New Zealand family and make you feel at home. To share with you something that we love and a piece of where we are from, all whilst learning about Malaysia. We want to indulge you in the “Kiwi way”
While working closely with our NZ suppliers we aim to provide you with the freshest ingredients, the most flavourful beef cuts and the best seafood New Zealand can offer. As we like to give back to our community, we try to buy all our fresh vegetables and salads from the local markets here in Johor, its fresh, its crisp and its some of the best we can find.
With some fantastic New Zealand inspired dishes, some great wine sourced all over NZ and a fantastic team of locals and expats where work hard to give you that experience of being in NZ that you have always wanted, or to make you feel right at home if you are a expat yourself.
We take pride in our work and our second home. The reward for us….Seeing someone bite into a piece of NZ Lamb or Beef, or digging right into our fish and chips or taking that first sip of a great wine they haven’t had in years, seeing the excitement, the pleasure, the feeling of warmth and at ease.

Our goal and vision for NZUR is to establish many more restaurants around South east Asia, to really make our mark on dining experiences over here on this side of the world. This will be defined by our high standard of service, our ability in provide fine dining restaurants and our fantastic food selection all while keeping true to our New Zealand Style, relaxed, professional and friendly.
We are creating a destination, not just a place to have dinner or lunch.Whether you are just having a coffee, or a glass of wine, or staying for dinner, you will experience the unique décor created to make them feel as if they are in New Zealand.
We have such a versatile restaurant with three different dining area for your comfort. Firstly our outdoor area, our most popular by far, With an extensive bar range back by a beautiful brass mirror which reflects the stunning Puteri Harbour Marina you can get lost in the moment and leave all stress behind whilst enjoying your visit with us. Secondly we have our Air Conditioned indoor area, great for families and couples wanting to get away from the heat, from indoors you get an amazing view into our kitchen, see our chefs work and watch them prepare you meal from scratch. Lastly is our 16 seat Private Dining room, perfect for your corporate needs, whether it be a private meeting, a VIP lunch or even just a staff get together we can offer you a great quiet place for you to enjoy.
With some great artwork splashed across our walls and some fantastic 100% Pure NZ videos shown on our screens, you will have no choice but to feel like you are in New Zealand.

OUR TEAM ARE WHO MAKE IT SUCH AN EXPERIENCE
New Zealand Unlimted Restaurant is founded by Richard Tankersley, A passionate kiwi who has spent a large portion of his life here in Malaysia growing his New Zealand Unlimited empire. NZUR is the newest edition to this we are extremely excited to share this with you.
Richard Tankersley our MD, has 40 years of experience organizing hundreds of events all with an F&B component. He, with our NZ management team will bring huge experience to our new venture in the restaurant business.
Here at NZUR we are all very passionate about what we do and how we do it, we offer amazing service and a unforgettable dining experiences all with the kiwi charm, in a relaxed, comfortable and friendly manner. We don’t want our guests just to be once off guests, we want you to feel like family, like this is a piece of home, somewhere to come and relax.
Our two teams, both Kitchen and Front of house are made up of a great selection of locals and expats.
Our Kitchen is headed up by Mat Cook, a well established and talented chef from Auckland, New Zealand. Mat runs a great team in the kitchen, each day teaching and educating them all a little further to help our chefs progress in their careers. Having created our menu from scratch and sourcing all of our suppliers in both NZ and Malaysia to bring you something unique, interesting and exciting.
Our Front of House team are the powerhouse of great customer service, having all come from great backgrounds we have helped to develop our team further and reach that X factor of customer service and attention. We select our teams on not only experience but on desire to grow, desire to learn and desire to build a career in the food and beverage industry with us.

New Zealand Unlimited is proudly the largest importer and distributor of New Zealand wines within Malaysia, we showcase 69 wines from 19 different vineyards across New Zealand alone.
We also proudly bring in World Famous Steinlager Pure & Classic into Malaysia. Steinlager has won many many awards over the last 5 years that it will take a book to name them all.
